CHECKING IN ON TED WILLIAMS, “THE GOLDEN VOICE”

I had to post this because I'm happy for Ted, we actually worked together at 107.5 in Columbus, Ohio in the mid 90's...God Bless you Mr. Williams!
The Internet has a penchant for turning undeserving people into celebrities, so it’s a beautiful thing when someone with actual talent gets discovered. Case in point: homeless man Ted Williams, who gained national attention for a YouTube video centered around his “Golden Voice” a little over a year ago. The folks over at ET recently caught up with Williams, and he seems to be doing well, earning money and surrounding himself with a support system aimed at keeping his life on track. He even got featured on a national Kraft macaroni and cheese commercial, one that many have probably seen.
In all likelihood, Ted Williams won’t be the last thing you think about before falling asleep tonight, but seeing an underdog of his stature actually make it is the perfect antidote for the ever-depressing 24-hour news cycle.
