UH OH NETFLIX! REDBOX & VERIZON HOOKING UP TO CRUSH YOU!

Uh oh! Watch out Netflix! Verizon & Redbox are hooking up to start a video streaming service later this year.
Verizon and Redbox’s parent, say the service will be national

The as-yet-unnamed service will accompany Redbox’s existing DVD and Blu-ray rental kiosks, with subscription services “and more” for streamed video using Verizon’s on-demand and download system.
Exactly what content will be available to stream is unclear. With Verizon involved, streaming directly to phones and tablets looks like a given.
Verizon will own 65% of the new venture, with Redbox picking up the remaining 35%. The two companies say they’ll announce more pricing details, as well as branding, closer to launch, which is expected to be this summer.
What do you think?
